YMCA International Kindergarten plans annual events
focused on both Japanese and Western Culture
so that children will learn to appreciate and deepen
international understanding. At the same time,
we hope children will sense the values and
traditions of Japanese culture and be able to
relay the information to people of other cultures
through being able to express themselves easily. |

YMCA International Kindergarten : YIKでは
キリスト教行事を中心に、日本文化と欧米文化のそれぞれを
年間行事の中に組み込むことを基本としています。
欧米文化を園生活の中で外国人講師とともに楽しく体験する
ことによって、将来にわたって異文化や外国人に対する
理解を深め、順応性を身に付けることを目標としています。
また、同時に日本文化に根付いた行事も大切にしていきます。
日本人の知恵や伝統ある慣習を学び、体験することは、
将来の海外滞在や外国人とのコミュニケーションの中で、
日本そして自分についての豊かな表現の根幹となります。 |
