||Arts and Crafts develop a child’s creative sense and
accompanying fine motor skills.
Creativity and learning to handle paper, crayons, scissors,
paint brushes and glue comes from hands-on experience
and the freedom to experiment with paint, clay
and a variety of materials. The value of being able to
make something with their own hands and the feeling
of accomplishment that it brings, cannot be denied.
In YIK the focus is on art that children can enjoy when it is
finished; for example, a paper kite that they can fly,
or a top that they can spin and play with. In addition to
daily arts and crafts, the children receive
special art classes from a qualified art instructor.
